Campus
Woodstock is located 1 kilometer outside of Mussoorie on the south side of a mountain with a 350 meter (1,000 feet) rise from the lowest to the highest points on campus. The entire 250-acre campus lies within a protected forest that supports a pristine mixed pine, rhododendron and Himalayan oak environment, a very peaceful contrast to the bustle of the local bazaar.
The main campus buildings and residences are spread out over the hillside, a mixture of old and new. Staff homes and residences are nestled amongst the trees across the campus with trails connecting them. Two motor roads run through the campus. These lead from Mussoorie into the hills.

The school buildings are located about a 10-minute walk away from the main student residences. The Media Center is the newest academic building. Dedicated in 1993, the Center houses a classroom, two computer labs, including one devoted to journalism, an auditorium, a spacious art studio, an industrial arts room, a video-editing suite and a screening room.
The High School building provides classrooms for Grades 9 through 12, science laboratories, the Vera Marley Library, and Parker Hall auditorium, which accommodates the whole school community and offers up-to-date lighting, sound and stage equipment. Assemblies, plays, dances, graduation - even weddings of staff or alumni - are held in Parker Hall. Nearby is the construction site for the Win Mumby Gym, which will consist of two covered courts, an outdoor field, and standard gymnasium equipment.
Below the High School are the original school buildings, parts of which are over 150 years old. The buildings are centered around a quadrangle, which lends its name to the Quad School, comprising the Elementary and Middle Schools. The Quad also houses the new music block with studios, practice cells, ensemble rooms, a dance studio and music library. Also located here are the ESL suite, the Grades KG-8 library and computer lab, an auditorium and the ceramic arts studio. The dining room and main kitchen, Health Center, administrative and business offices complete the picture.
Six residence buildings extend along the wooded ridges below the academic buildings or on the hillside above them. Together, the residences provide students with a fitness gym, indoor court, swimming pool, three outdoor basketball courts, and a large playing field. Hanson Field, the main sports and athletic field, is a five to ten minute walk down from the lower residences.
