24th October, 2009 - A day to remember
A day to RAISE YOUR HAND for Woodstock. A day to reconnect with friends - and meet new ones. On this one day of the year, host or attend a Woodstock get-together in a home, a restaurant, on top of a mountain - anywhere, and celebrate with the worldwide Woodstock family.- Share memories and photos
- Eat Indian khana - or pancakes with condensed milk
- Have a photo taken of your gathering and send it to RaiseYourHand@woodstock.ac.in so we can put it on the WWD webpages
- Video yourselves singing "Shadows" (preferably in the key of "F"!) so we can make a World Woodstock Day video.
Many people have already told us what they will be doing on that day, and we have created a map so you can see what is happening near you. Send us information about the event you are planning, and we'll add it to the map. Email chrisstarr@woodstock.ac.in .
