Indeed, it is a joy to see how so many different backgrounds can live and work so well together, a breath of fresh air for someone like me, from Northern Ireland. We also wanted to leave the comfort zone of home and to be stretched: Woodstock is a great place to be stretched!"

"I have really enjoyed working with students even though my interaction with them is limited since I work in the Office. Working with young people of different backgrounds and cultures stretches one in so many ways - intellectually, emotionally, physically. It has also been fun learning how to use new technology as it is introduced in Woodstock. When I joined, I used a typewriter, then a word processor and now we have some of the newest computer programs available."

"Working at Woodstock is the most fulfilling job I have ever had. Students are committed to learning, and my supervisors are also committed to making the experience the best it can be for my students. Our location in the Himalayas means that any free time can be spent in the outdoors, on long or short excursions, or enjoying the nature that can be seen from my backyard.' 

"I like working at Woodstock because of the various opportunities that the students are given. I have a calling to work with children and to make a difference in their lives. I feel that young lives can be molded and it is my desire and goal to bring out the best in the students that I work with and to help them see that they are special.
