On your marks ... get set ... CELEBRATE!!

February
Feb 2
– The staff ‘Welcome Back’ dinner inaugurates the year’s celebrations.

March
March 27
– A classical piano concert given by Mr. Justin McCarthy is the first performance brought to Woodstock as part of the Sesquicentennial Concert Series.

April

May
The Woodstock 150 Commemorative Journal is released.

June
June 2
– Woodstock’s Commemorative Stamp and First Day Cover are officially released.
June 4-8 – The Woodstock 150 Arts Festival features a week of music, drama, and visual arts. The week includes the first of the year’s two celebratory melas, Mela Rouge, on June 5.
June 7 – The Jim Havens Peace Sculpture is unveiled at Woodstock.
June 8 – A Special Parents’ Assembly is held as part of the Woodstock 150 Arts Festival.
June 10-11 – Following June’s annual WOSA Tea and Homecoming, Baccalaureate and Commencement Ceremonies are held for the school’s sesquicentennial class, which include the 75th annual commencement ceremony at Woodstock. Aug 10-15
– A special Indian Culture Week features a dynamic series of evening programs, leading up to a school-wide celebration on Independence Day.

September
Sept 16
– Mr. Fenton Gray & Mr. Charles Miller bring an evening of West End cabaret to Woodstock as part of the Sesquicentennial Concert Series.

October
Oct 22
– WOSA/India hosts a special welcome dinner in Delhi for friends alumni around the world who are participating in the Woodstock 150 Festival.
Oct 25-29 – Several hundred alumni take part in one of twelve exciting Activity Week trips prior to the 150 Festival Weekend.
Oct 30-31 – The Woodstock 150 Festival Weekend is a momentous celebration shared by over 1000 participants. Highlights of the weekend include the dedications of ‘Studio 59’ and Midlands Residence, the Sesquicentennial Worship Service, and the Closing Ceremony – to name only a few! Nov 3
– The school’s annual Employees’ Day features a special celebration to honor this vital part of our community.

December
Dec 10
- The school’s sesquicentennial year concludes with a special staff dinner which honors Woodstock’s long-serving staff members.
Dec 31 - The Woodstock 150 Campaign comes to an impressive close, raising a total of $7.1 million to “Celebrate the Past, Secure the Future”.
