STOMP, a unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy, was created in Brighton, UK, in the summer of 1991 as the result of a ten year collaboration between its creators, two English street artists and musicians. A group of Woodstock students, under the direction of music teacher Zingrin Shishak '97, have begun to explore the STOMP concept, using found items (bins, piping, sticks) as percussion instruments to create complex drum rhythms.
