Independence Day : Employees' lunch

Woodstock again hosted its Employees Lunch Wednesday where staff and students volunteer each year to serve this special meal to employees and their families as a thank-you for their dedicated work.

The Alter Ridge dining room was transformed into an elegant restaurant-like setting complete with table décor and balloons and flags hung meticulously from the ceiling. Anticipation ran high a few minutes before the doors opened for each session as crowds gathered tightly around the entrance. So popular is this Independence Day tradition that three sittings are required to accommodate all who attend. Live music was also featured at the event, provided by staff and employees who regularly broke into dancing as strong drum beats echoed through the room.
