Student leadership training

Students involved in leadership at the high school level constructed makeshift shelters out of wood and plastic as part of their annual Student Leadership retreat the weekend of 24 August. The focus of the activity was to experience what many on the hillside call home-tents, huts and tarps. The brave students also slept in their constructed huts near the Hanifl Center after spending several hours of teamwork on them. Some students even named the regions within the new, temporary community. With help from staff members John Montgomery, Lorenz & Radha Petters, among others, the entire weekend was a success for students. Woodstock looks forward to partnering with its student leaders for the semester already in progress and also the coming semester.
