Terrorist attacks in Mumbai

28th November 2008. Over the last two days, the Woodstock community has been shocked at the news coming out of Mumbai about the on-going terrorist assault occurring there. We are deeply saddened by the loss of life as well as the repercussions of fear throughout India that are inevitable. We mourn with those who are personally affected by these events whether through injury, loss of loved ones, or loss of livelihood.

To this date we have no reports of any Woodstock students or staff being directly impacted by the attacks. Our counseling team is prepared to help students work through any concerns or fears they might have as a result of this news.

We have no reason to believe that this violence will spread to Mussoorie. At this time we do not consider that we are under any threat at Woodstock. Parents can be reassured that their children continue to be safe while they are in our care.
