Staff Retreat

The school's staff members got a chance to hold meetings and workshops during a week-long retreat that took place from 27th - 31st of July.

All the staff members were greeted each morning with special devotion, worship, singing, and announcements at the Parker Hall. The devotions and singing were led by several of the staff including Dot Wildman, Beth Boven, Ravi Arthur, Gregory Miller, Moryan VanOpstal, Pete Wildman, and Ben Lall.

The academic and residence staff held meetings amongst their respective departments, and other supplementary meetings included a 'First Aid Training' session, advisor group meetings, MSA accreditation meeting, a briefing on the honour code, communion service and activity week meetings, and an instruction session on fire safety. All of the school's staff gathered together for the semester's All Staff Photograph on Tuesday morning. The academic and residence staff were involved in ADD/ADHD workshops all of Thursday.

Anil Jain and the ICT department spread the word on their Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) scheme during a staff laptop initiative meet during the week. The ICT department encouraged staff members to bring their own or school purchased laptops to work.

A 'welcome back' banquet was held for all staff at the Quad Dining Hall on Monday evening, and staff members spread across the hillside for 'Just Desserts' on Thursday. Many of the staff and students also took part in a football tournament at Ridgewood on Friday evening.
