Support staff sing a Hindi carol

A Woodstock Christmas Carol (Grade 5)

It's the last week of school, and counting down to Christmas and the Winter Holidays couldn't have been more fun for the Elementary School! For every morning this week, Elementary School students will be holding Christmas Presentations in the Quad.

Grade 5 students took matters into their own hands, as they wrote, directed, and designed all aspects of their Friday (December 11th) morning play 'A Woodstock Christmas Carol'. The students participated by acting, playing musical instruments, writing poetry as part of the script, and designing the stage, make-up, and costumes themselves. The play was a Woodstock-ian take on Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol', portraying the 'Scrooge' who learns about the spirit of giving and friendship on Christmas thanks to the help of three ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future.

The presentation was followed by Christmas carol singing for all of the Quad School students and staff. The different classes in the Quad School got to choose and sing their favourite carols.

Middle School is also celebrating 'Spirit Week', where students and staff are encouraged to dress up in different themes on each day of the week. Friday was 'Christmas Theme Costume Day'.
