Hundreds of students attend US University fair at the Win Mumby Gymnasium
The Win Mumby Gymnasium played host to a US University fair as part of the Council of International Schools (CIS) Tours on Monday, October 5th. The tour, which intends to connect students in India to higher education in the United States, featured representatives from 27 diverse and prestigious institutions from the US. Most of the 11th and 12th graders at the school attended this event, and the school also welcomed visiting students from The Doon School (Dehradun) and Welham Girls' School (Dehradun).
After a brief introduction to the types of institutions present at the tour and the courses offered, the students were free to interact with university admissions representatives at their various counters around the main basketball court of the gymnasium. Students took advantage of this opportunity, asking questions, taking notes, and reading up about each institution's enrollment and admission facts.
