Edgehill goes Around the Universe

Alien invasions, magic tricks, and a whole lotta food - that is what Edgehill Open House was all about! Woodstock's youngest dormitory (housing boys and girls up to Grade 6) held a magnificent carnival on Saturday, October 10th, with the theme of 'Around the Universe'. As always, students decorated their rooms for visitors and hosted a fair on their playground.

The theme not only allowed the students to play the role of different nationalities around the world, but also featured aliens, astronauts, and exploration of the wonders of outer space. The rooms were decorated in accordance with this theme. Edgehill has three girls' rooms, and all of their residents performed entertaining dances for the visitors. The boys staged alien invasions, wars between alien ninjas, magic tricks, and even an alien version of the 'Three Little Pigs'!

After the performances, visitors joined the children at the fair in the Edgehill playground, where the children and some of the assisting staff hosted games and food stalls.
