High-Schoolers shine in external examinations

During Assembly on Monday, October 12, two senior students were given special recognition for their exceptional scores in external examinations: Ennuri Jo for her success in IGCSE English Literature and Thomas Swanson for his score in the PSAT examination.

Ennuri sat for the IGCSEs during October-November 2008. She received an A* in the English Literature examination, which is the highest possible score, and Cambridge Examinations notified us that she was among the top-performing students in India.

Thomas was recognised for his score on the PSAT examination that he sat in October 2008, which is also the National Merit Qualifying Examination. Thomas scored in the top 5 percent of the students that took the test, and therefore, received a commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
