Board Members visit School

Several members of the Woodstock School Board visited the school for the September 2009 Annual General Meetings, held from September 16th - 19th.

The visiting board members were:

* Invitees Mrs. Paula Mowry and Dr. Jacob Cherian were appointed board members as of this AGM. Invitees who couldn't attend the AGM, Mr. Frank Mayadas and Mr. Mark Noonan, were also voted in as board members. Emeritus member Mr. TZ Chu was also present for the meetings.

Several of Woodstock staff and student representatives took part in the various meetings. Apart from the Executive Committee Meeting and the Annual General Board Meetings, the Development Advisory, Education, Audit, Finance, Student Life, Personnel, Governance and Nominations, and Buildings and Grounds Committee also held meetings during this period.

The Board Members enjoyed a special dinner on Thursday September 17th with various student representatives and were present to witness the grand dedication ceremony of the Win Mumby gymnasium held on Friday September 18th.
