Woodstock hosts Inter-School Cross Country

The Landour ridge was once again visited by a throng of young speedsters as Woodstock hosted the Inter-School Cross Country on Saturday, September 19th. The races included the best male and female runners across four divisions from Woodstock School, Wynberg-Allen School, and St. Georges' College. The top performers of Woodstock's Inter-House Cross-Country that was held on September 11th were chosen to represent the school in the races.

Runners and supporters gathered at the Kellogs' Church on Saturday morning, from where-on the races went around the two encircling 'chakkars', touching Char Dukan, Lal Tibba, Hawa Ghar, and Sister's Bazaar.

Woodstock School won five medals in the event, whereas Wynberg-Allen school won all of the overall divisions.

The Woodstock medalists were:
• Minzy Choi (First) - Sub Junior Girls
• Sheena Jelaji (Third) - Junior Girls
• Christina Malik (First) - Inter Girls
• Uzir Thapa (Third) - Inter Boys
• Reed Byg (Third) - Senior Girls
