Middle School musical - Joseph

Middle School rose to the challenge this semester - to put on a mini-musical with just four weeks' preparation. The directors' choice was the perennial favourite "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat". The leading roles were taken by Jai Nalwa (Jacob), Coleman Thomas (Joseph) and Sahil Jain (Pharaoh), and the rest of Middle School filled the stage with a host of brothers, dancers and chorus. Others took responsibility for stage management and scene shifting. Sets and costumes were designed by the Middle Schoolers themselves, and it was an exuberant and colourful performance, thoroughly enjoyed by staff, students and guests, but probably most of all by the cast themselves. Special thanks must go to the directors, Ms. Anne Sheehy and Mrs. Rachelle Hugg and accompanists Mr. Zingrin Shishak and Kiwa Takatsu, grade 11, and many other staff who helped with music, choreography, rehearsals and set construction.
