International Expo

This annual event offers an opportunity for students for High School students, after exams finish, to pursue an area of interest and to make presentations to groups of students FROM Middle School and Elementary School. The emphasis is on interactivity, so all around the school students could be seen riding bikes through zigzag tracks, understanding the danger of riding without a helmet by crushing watermelons, creating mirror mazes for laser lights, practising football skills and hearing about village development work.

Musicians were well in evidence, with a jazz workshop and a percussion workshop. Science experiments were popular, with brides and floating towers being built from straws and tape, and with a competition to launch water-filled balloons from an elastic slingshot. The weather was fine - apart from the simulated rainfall on the World Cup pitch in the Quad - and there was plenty to see and to do.
