World Reading Day

Elementary school's celebration of World Reading Day had a definite Dr. Seuss flavour, with the elementary students even being fed green eggs and ham for their lunch - causing much jealousy in the staff area of the canteen.

Other events during the day included:

• A Readathon throughout the day, with every elementary grade participating
• Miss Hoffmann reading a Dr. Seuss story in the High School assembly
• The elementary students being encouraged to read for twenty minutes before going to sleep that night.
