Li Chu '59 receives prestigious volunteering award

We are delighted to announce that Li-Chiang Chu '59 has received the Ernest T. Stewart Award for Alumni Volunteer Involvement from CASE (the Council for Advancement of Education). The award will be presented on July 9 in Chicago.

This is the highest honour given by CASE to volunteer alumni in educational institutions. Winners are recognized for their exceptional overall service to their alma maters. The following is the CASE description of the award:

"First presented in 1947, the Alumni Service Award was the highest honor bestowed by the American Alumni Council, a CASE predecessor organization. Created to recognize outstanding service rendered to an institution by an alumnus/a, it was renamed in 1967 to honor Ernest T. Stewart, the first executive director of AAC. Anyone familiar with the outstanding achievements of an alumni volunteer from your institution may submit a nomination."

Woodstock School offers its congratulations to Li Chu, along with thanks for the many years of service that this award recognises. Thank you, Li.
