Paro Anand tells stories
"Just four more stories, please!" Elementary school students kept asking for more, when Paro Anand held a storytelling session in the Quad library. The author of more than fifteen books for children and adults, Ms. Anand visited Woodstock from March 24-April 15, as a writer-in-residence. In addition to storytelling, she also spoke about creative writing with four different middle school classes and met with the high school Cassinath Writers on two occasions. The writer-in-residence program is a new initiative of Mussoorie Writers, which is sponsored by the Winterline Foundation and Woodstock School. Paro Anand stayed in a school apartment on campus and completed a new novel while she was in Landour. Woodstock can inspire the storyteller in all of us.
