Student retreats
In Elementary and Middle School, the RE retreat is an important part of the year's programme. It provides an opportunity for students to spend a night away from school and explore Christianity in a relaxed and fun way. We are grateful to the staff who give up their Saturdays to help lead and chaperone these retreats.
Grades 3 and 4 went to the Hanifl Centre, where they enjoyed crafts and activities based around the movie "The Miracle Maker". Grades 5 and 6 were at the Himalayan Torchbearers Trust - always a favourite venue - for a weekend based around the theme of "Superheroes" and featuring the movie "Sky High". STudents were encouraged to think about their own unique gifts, and how they can be used for good or bad. Apart from the programme, the students just enjoy time away from school and a new space to play in - as you can see from the photos.
