Umbrellas, anyone?

"Caught out by the rain? The alumni store has Woodstock-branded umbrellas on sale..". Yes, we are getting better at marketing. As the thunder rolled outside the office window and the rain and hailstones lashed down, we thought it was a good time to email all the staff to tell them about our new line.

We have had a very dry spring, with a number of forest fires (see earlier post), but over the last week the weather has settled into a pattern of dry mornings and intense storms in the afternoon, with thunder, lightning and hailstones. It's not the monsoon, but it's not always easy to tell the difference.

Still, it's good for umbrella sales.
