Parents and Teachers meet following Mid-Term Break

Students got a break halfway through the busy semester with the Mid-Term break held around the Easter holidays, from April 1-5. Many of the parents returned with the students to school on Tuesday, the 6th of April, and also got a chance to take part in Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC) around the Quad area.

Although a few of the students chose to stay back and relax in their dorms during the break, many went out of boarding with parents or friends, staying in Mussoorie or some traveling even as far as New Delhi.

During the PTC on Tuesday, parents spent the morning meeting different teachers for all the subjects around the Quad area and inside the Quad Dining Hall. College Counseller Aman Dang also held a presentation for the parents.

After lunch, Principal Dr. David Laurenson spoke to parents and guardians about the new two-school model that Woodstock will be adopting in August 2010. Parents of students in the Senior class had a special meeting in the Quad Conference Room with senior advisors and other staff to discuss information about the upcoming graduation.

The fourth and final quarter of the 2009-10 academic year began for the students on Tuesday.
