Staff return to meet and prepare for the new semester

With the first day of school right around the corner, Woodstock staff returned to Mussoorie a week in advance to take part in meetings, preparation, and to settle down before the students make their way back up to the school.

On February 1st, staff and their families were welcomed back to the school with a special breakfast at the Quad Dining Hall. An ICT meeting immediately afterwards in the Media Center set the tone for the entire week of staff meetings.

The major discussions during the course of the week included the evolution of technology and ICT infrastructure in the school, meetings to discuss the Strategic Master Plan, and meetings concerning the Middle States Association surveys and results. The staff stayed involved in several dynamic and interactive sessions looking forward to the shift to the two-school system planned for next semester.

Most of the mornings began with devotions and announcements. A small number of new staff joining Woodstock were orientated, and faculty and residence staff members met to discuss residence organization, curriculum, and professional development.

The Heads of Schools and Directors Council, Budget Managers, Head of Departments, and Chaplaincy Council all had the chance to meet and discuss upcoming issues for the semester.

With the staff in gear, Woodstock School is ready to welcome back the students for the spring semester.
