Alumni giving back
Merryn Glover Appleby '87 and her family visited Woodstock as part of their extensive travel plans through Asia. A gifted writer, Merryn has written numerous short stories, plays and an upcoming novel. In early October, she took the time to lead three workshops on short-story writing. We are so fortunate to have an immense pool of gifted alumni who continually give back to the school and to the students. Merryn's gift of writing is a perfect example of how she can impact young writers and inspire them to greatness. Her actions also remind the students not only that Woodstock holds an important place in the hearts and minds of alumni, but that someday, they too will have the opportunity to share their expertise with young students eager to learn.
